We get asked this occasionally, so here's a straightforward answer: every Roadelier design is an original composition, developed through digital illustration rather than photographed from a real, specific vehicle.

Why We Design Rather Than Photograph

Licensed photography of real manufacturer vehicles comes with restrictions — you're paying for (and limited to) a specific angle, a specific car, a specific moment. Designing original compositions instead means we can shape lighting, mood, proportion and setting deliberately, built around how the piece will actually look on a wall rather than how it looked through a camera lens.

Inspired By, Not Reproductions Of

Our pieces draw on the general character of classic and modern automotive design — silhouettes, eras, motorsport aesthetics — without reproducing any specific manufacturer's exact vehicle or branding. Think of it as automotive character studies rather than portraits of one particular car.

What This Means for You
